What we receive and why

If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or telephone, we may receive your name, contact details, address or postcode, photographs of the items or property, messages about the work and any information needed to prepare a quote. If you book us, we also use appointment and payment or invoice details to provide the service and keep business records.

We use enquiries to take steps towards a contract at your request; booking details to fulfil our contract with you; financial records to meet legal obligations; and necessary correspondence and site security information for our legitimate interests in running the business and protecting the website. We do not use photographs sent for a quote in public marketing without permission.

Who receives it

We use providers that help us communicate, host the website and run our business. When you choose the WhatsApp button, you leave this website and WhatsApp handles your message and photographs under its own privacy policy. We may disclose information when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Their terms explain where they process data and the protections they apply; contact us if you need details about a particular provider involved in your enquiry.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as reasonably needed to answer and follow up with you. For completed work, we keep service and financial records for the period required by applicable tax and accounting rules, and longer only where needed to deal with a dispute or legal requirement. You can ask us about a particular record or request its deletion where the law allows.

Website and cookies

This website has no contact form, analytics tracker or advertising tag. It does not set marketing cookies through its own page code. The hosting service may use essential technical data to deliver and protect the website. If we add optional tracking or a form later, we will update this notice and introduce any required consent choice.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion or restriction in certain circumstances, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email us using the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We do not make automated decisions about quotes: a person reviews enquiries.
